Wimberley Adoption Group & Rescue (“WAG Rescue,” “we,” “us”) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog rescue based in Wimberley, Texas. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you email us, call us, or mail us a donation, we receive the information you choose to share, such as your name, mailing address, email address, phone number, and the content of your message. If you donate by check, we ask for your name, mailing address, and email address so we can acknowledge your gift and send a donation receipt.
Online donations. When you donate online, you provide your name, email address, billing information, and payment details through our donation form. Payments are handled by our third-party donation and payment processor, which has its own privacy policy. WAG Rescue does not store your full card number. We receive your name, contact information, and donation details so we can acknowledge your gift and provide a receipt. If the form offers an option to receive email updates from us, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
Applications. Adoption, foster, and owner surrender applications are completed on Shelterluv, and volunteer applications are completed on Better Impact. The information you enter on those forms is collected by those services on our behalf and shared with WAG Rescue so we can review your application.
Technical information. Like most websites, our web host automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view. This information is used to keep the website secure and working properly.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies only where needed for it to function, for example to keep site administrators logged in. Third-party services embedded on our pages, such as the Shelterluv listing of adoptable dogs, may set their own cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some features may not work as intended.

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law. We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children’s privacy
